Write-and-release poem

It’s January, so I’ve been busy with freelance work, bookkeeping and finances, travel plans, more querying and submissions. Taking care of all the business.

But what I sometimes do, when not writing the larger projects, I draft write-and-release poems. I start the poem in bed with my morning coffee. Shuffle the words around again in the afternoon, radiating as I am from a delicious lunch.

Then I share it. No overthinking. No second guessing.

Keep that writing muscle flexed. Today, y’all are the lucky recipients.
